While you're never sure what comes out of his mouth...be certain his heart is pure. A fast-paced, funny show that is safe for the whole family.
Some entertainers work with an agent or a manager. Some have what they call a “street team”… in other words family, friends and fans help who help get the word out when that performer is coming to a nearby city.
We thought it would be cool to combine both: TEAMGENT. YOU! Since the economy is slumping, we wanted to come up with a way to try and put a little extra cash in your pocket so here is what we are proposing.
When you refer the comedy of David Dean to a church function, school assembly, banquet, comedy outreach event or Bar Mitzvah (hey…I’ve done them) and the show is confirmed, we’ll send you a check for 10% off the amount from the fee paid to David for your “finders fee”. If you’d rather the 10% go to a civic organization or another ministry of your choice, we’ll do that instead.
www.davidpdean.com contains most of the information you’ll need to help get started with your contact person. This site also has a bio and photos to help promote the show. Video clips are the best way to showcase David performing. Watch one here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJTWZoc2YmM&feature=autoplay&list=PLF8EDF8AE2CA59168&playnext=1
E-mail laugh@davidpdean.com with any questions or ideas you may have. Don’t forget to remind your contact person with this TEAMGENT idea so that when the contract is assembled and the show is complete, we know who to send the “finders fee” to. Hopefully….YOU!!
Thanks for helping get the word out on the comedy of David Dean and most importantly, the concept that comedy can be clean and safe for the whole family.
See ya on the road….
One of the many cool features Miracle Camp offers is the chance to download each talk a speaker gives while at their winter retreats. I was there Feb. 11-13 and spoke to around 270 senior high students and their leaders that weekend using their theme “Re-fuel”.
I only speak to teenagers about 10-12 times a year anymore but I truly enjoy it. Youth was my target audience for many years but as I grew older..I think I may have lost that “cool” element that some feel is necessary in order to relate to teens. Not that I have ever HAD that trait! Now, it seems like I’m bringing more of a parental factor when I speak to youth. My wife and I have a 20yr old son serving in Iraq and a daughter who is a junior in high school…so in many regards, a retreat feels like the living room in our home on weekends. I feel very comfortable talking to teens…like I’m giving the same spiritual advice that I would give to my own kids.
Feel free to download all four of my talks on iTunes that I gave that weekend. The link is at the top of this story. Share them with your own kids, or teenagers, if you’d like. I would love to get some feedback from you. laugh@davidpdean.com.
