While you're never sure what comes out of his mouth...be certain his heart is pure. A fast-paced, funny show that is safe for the whole family.

We live in a day and age where laughter is a MUST. We must laugh…or we cry. Both emotions are important but laughter seems to make us feel a little better. I prefer to laugh so much that I cry.

I’m also proud to say that the comedy I perform is family friendly. The material that I use at a civic event, fund-raiser or convention is also what I use for a family night at a church. Clean comedy that is good cannot be labeled.

I love it when a pastor asks me to speak at their church on Sunday morning. I call it “comedy with content”. Picture that individual who hasn’t stepped in a sanctuary in years and they happen to be sitting in the pew the day I’m speaking. The harder I make them laugh, the farther I can reach into their heart. And the content is designed for the whole family.

I have a few local events coming up in my home state that I would love for you to attend. The River, a church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has invited me to speak at their Sunday morning service on May 22nd and then return for a night of comedy on May 28th. You can get all the information at: www.daviddeancomedynight.com

I hope you’ll attend and see for yourself what its like to laugh in church.

Road Dates

Looking forward to some great comedy events that I have booked for this weekend. If you happen to live in the area for any of these dates, I hope you will be able to bring your family and friends and enjoy a night of clean, family-friendly comedy.

This Friday, March 25th, I will be working with my good friend and VERY funny guy, John Branyan. We’ll be doing a Laugh All Night comedy concert at Christ’s Church at Mason,  5165 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio. 7:30pm showtime.

Saturday, March 26, I’m working locally. I don’t do many of these but I’m looking forward to doing another Laugh All Night comedy concert at Life Church, 900 East State Street, Huntington, IN. 7:00pm showtime.

The weekend wraps up Sunday night, March 27th, doing a community wide comedy concert for Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The show will be held at Sylvan High School, 504 W 4th St, Sylvan Grove, Kansas. 7pm showtime.

If you love to laugh…and you want it clean…I hope to see you at one of the shows this weekend. I’ll save a seat in the front row for ya!

“We laughed so hard…you are the funniest person I’ve ever heard!!”

If I had a dime for every time I heard that comment, I would have 40 cents.

For 20 plus years, I’ve had the luxury of making people laugh through life observations, family stories, audience interaction and my life as a teenager. And time after time, more people tell me after a show how much of what I said related to their OWN life. And also touched their heart.

The best part of what I do? It’s squeaky clean. Hard hitting, never miss a beat comedy that comes at ya’ full speed…but clean. A safe night for the whole family. My theory is why bring the house down but not share something that may change a person’s life?

In the late 80’s, I spent 3 years performing at the famous Second City, an improvisational comedy center in Chicago. Over the years, I’ve blended that spontaneous comedy training with stories that touch the soul. I want people to walk away from a show not only saying they laughed…but they were moved.

This platform called “comedy” has allowed me to speak at conventions, camps, banquets, schools…the list goes on and on. And I’m praying it goes on for another 20 plus years.
